Aleksa and Robert Kowalczyk were fresh off the boat, first generation into the country straight from Poland. They met and married in Szczecin (Stettin), Poland in the summer of 1985 they had been two high school sweet hearts and fell quickly into a whirlwind romance. The two of them welcomed into the world their first daughter Alina in 1986; eleven months after their marriage had taken place. Robert soon decided that he wanted to give his wife and child the best life he could offer them. He sold their belongings, gave up their apartment and moved to New York City with big hopes and not much cash. Luckily he had a cousin whom had gone through the same transition nearly ten years beforehand and gave him a leg up and a place to stay while he got his feet on the ground. Robert refused to allow his wife to work and held several menial jobs while trying to achieve greatness for his family. In 1988 the couple welcomed into the world their second daughter whom they named Krysia. By this time the couple had their own apartment and Robert was a fully fledged employee of the Subway system as well as a substitute janitor for one of the local schools.

The couple thought they were finished creating children and had become comfortable with the way they lived their lives. Their small, two bedroom apartment was cozy and filled with love for each other as well as their two beautiful girls. That all changed in 1990 when Aleksa went into a routine check up and found out that she was once again with child, on February 25th. 1991 Aleska and her husband Robert welcomed into the world their third daughter, Renaeta Louise Kowalczyk. Renaeta was a welcome addition to their home but she was certainly an unexpected kink in their plan of life. They showed her love and appreciation but Ren grew up knowing there was friction in the household because of her. She was a troubled child and held a lot of rage and aggression. In her youth she was diagnosed with ADHD and ODD which caused her parents a lot of grief. They couldn’t get Ren to take her medications which caused more pain and misery throughout the family unit.

In high school Ren struggled, her reading comprehension levels were quite low and her math skills were even lower. She was held back in the tenth grade and once she turned sixteen she dropped out and never looked back. Her parents were unhappy with her decision to drop out but let her stay with them until she was able to find employment. After a year off and being turned away by everyone even McDonald’s and Burger King she took classes and eventually took the GED test and passed. It took her three tries but she achieved what seemed to be the impossible. She took a job at a clothing boutique and got an apartment with a couple of roommates. She was living the dream in her mind while her elder sisters were both abroad studying in whatever they went to college for. They were sharing photos on myspace and facebook and eventually twitter and instagram of their vacations, new friends and their exotic significant others.

Over time Ren dated around, she dated much older men and eventually got caught up in a love triangle or two. She hated the way her life had become such a spectacle. When she turned eighteen she ventured into the porn industry doing everything under the sun. The money she was collecting was good and allowed her to enjoy a much better lifestyle but at the same time she felt terrible about the way she was getting money. Her dream was to become a legitimate actress but every audition she went on turned her away other than small bit parts in the background of SNL skits and commercials. Whenever anyone asks her what she does for a living she refers to herself as an actress and when asked what she has been in she just simply says small parts in commercials. She refuses to tell anyone who isn’t in the need to know what she really does because she hates the looks and snide comments that she receives.
